ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಸಮಾಜ ಬಾಂಧವರೇ, ನಿಮಗೆಲ್ಲ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಘದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಹಾರ್ದಿಕ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು

ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಘವು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿ ಸುಮಾರು 87 ವರ್ಷಗಳು ತುಂಬಿದ್ದು, ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಕಷ್ಟಕರ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಸುಮಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಜಡತ್ವವಾಗಿದ್ದು ತಿಪಟೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾದ ನೊಳಂಬ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸಂಘ ದೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಲೀನವಾಗಿ ಆಗಿನ ಸಮಾಜ ಸುಧಾರಣಾ ಸಂಘವೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ನೊಳಂಬ ವೀರಶೈವ ಸಂಘವಾಗಿ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಹೊಂದಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುಸಿದ್ದರಾಮೇಶ್ವರ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಹಲವಾರು ತರುಣರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಹೃದಯರಾದ ಹಿರಿಯರುಗಳು ದೃಢ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸಂಘವು ಒಂದೊಂದೇ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಹೊಂದಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.

ಸಂಘದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯು ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ 1980 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಬಿ ಎಂ. ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಣ್ಣನವರು ದಾನವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪೇಟೆ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ತೆರವುಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಒಂದು ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ನಂತರ, ಅದರಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಆದಾಯದಿಂದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬಸವೇಶ್ವರನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಕಂಬಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಣ್ಣ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ನಿಲಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ನೊಳಂಬ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯದ ರಾಜಗುರುವಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಗುರುಸಿದ್ದರಾಮೇಶ್ವರ ಜಯಂತಿಯನ್ನು 1974 ರಿಂದ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತ ಬಂದಿದ್ದು, ಉಳಿದ ಹಣಕಾಸಿನ ನೆರವಿನಿಂದ ಅರಸೀಕೆರೆ, ಗುಬ್ಬಿ, ತುರುವೇಕೆರೆ, ಅಜ್ಜಂಪುರ, ಹೊಸದುರ್ಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಾವೇರಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಭವನಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇವುಗಳಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲವನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಬಳಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಮೈಸೂರು, ಹಾವೇರಿ, ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ- ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರ ವಸತಿ ನಿಲಯಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿ ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಬಡ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ, ಅಭಿಯಂತರ, ವೈದ್ಯರು, ವಕೀಲರು, ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೋದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ವಿಚಾರ.
ಸಂಘದ ದ್ಯೇಯೋದ್ಧೇಶ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಚ್ಚುಕಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವುದು ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.ಅವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡುವುದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಿರಿಯರು, ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಹಾಗೂ ಗುರುಗಳ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

Greetings and best wishes to all of you on behalf of our Sangha.

As our Sangha proudly completes about 87 years since its establishment, it is inspiring to reflect on our journey. In its early days, the association faced significant financial difficulties and remained inactive for many years. Later, it merged with the Nolamba Ithihasa Parishat of Tiptur, and was renamed as the Nolamba Veerashaiva Association from its previous name, Samaja Sudharana Sangha. With the celebration of Shri Gurusiddharameshwara Jayanti, several enthusiastic youth and supportive elders , the association took firm steps towards growth and progress.

When the association faced financial hardships, a property in Chickpet which was donated by Kambi M. Siddaramanna was redeveloped and a commercial complex was built in 1980.The income generated from this was utilized to establish the Kambi Siddaramanna Students’ Hostel in Basaveshwaranagar, Bengaluru.

Since 1974, the Jayanti of Shri Gurusiddharameshwara has been celebrated in various locations across Karnataka. Utilizing the surplus funds, community halls were constructed in different places such as Arsikere, Gubbi, Turuvekere, Ajjampura, Hosadurga, and Haveri. The resources generated from these facilities have been dedicated to the development of the community. Additionally, as a step towards promoting education, hostels for boys and girls have been established in district centres including Bengaluru, Mysuru, Haveri, and Shivamogga, furthering the association’s commitment to social welfare. Additionally, the initiatives have benefitted underprivileged students from rural areas. Many of these students have secured government jobs and contribute as professionals in fields such as technology, engineering, medicine, law, Industrialists, entrepreneurship, and other sectors. This is a matter of pride for our community.

Carrying forward the vision and mission of the association as well as all its activities, is a responsibility for the next generation. Guiding them in this journey is a duty that rests with our senior members, political leaders, and spiritual guides.
